According to the World Health Organization, diarrheal and pneumonia, are the top two causes of deaths, killing over 2.3million children under the age of 5 years, per year. The tragedy is that these deaths are easily preventable – by hand-washing with soap. Statistics have shown that handwashing with soap alone can reduce hygiene related deaths and illnesses by 50%.
